Recently opened directly behind our Charleston hotel was the much heralded CentrePoint complex. This new facility is home to many new restaurants, shops, Tanger Outlet mall, and the nationally recognized Fire Museum. A crowd was on hand to see the opening of the American LaFrance Fire Museum and Educational Center who is displaying a collection of a hand operated fire pump, eighteen antique fire trucks which includes two horse-drawn steam engines.
